What point 2.7 actually says
According to the official Dukat.bet bonus page (as of 8 October 2026), the default maximum bet during wagering is typically 5 EUR/USD, or 7.5 AUD/CAD/NZD, unless the offer states otherwise. The rule explicitly includes the post-spin double-up (gamble), an in-game purchased bonus round (bonus buy) and similar features. The operator can change the text, so check the current version before you activate.
Three details are worth noting:
- A default, not a fixed number. Under point 2.4 every bonus can have its own maximum bet. If the offer gives a lower cap, that is the one that applies.
- Only during wagering. Until the condition is met, it applies to every stake; after that, it no longer does.
- Currency. The general rule gives no value for other currencies. If your account isn’t held in euros or dollars, ask for the exact limit.
The general rules don’t spell out what happens after a breach. Point 2.3, however, states that in case of abuse the casino can bar bonuses and cancel related winnings, during and after wagering. So don’t treat breaking the cap as a minor slip.
Gamble, bonus buy and other features in your stake
Most breaches don’t happen because someone deliberately bets 10 EUR. The stake grows through a feature while the base bet stays small.
| Feature | What counts as the stake | Example | Within 5 EUR? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Base bet | The full stake of the spin | A 2 EUR spin | Yes |
| Gamble (double-up) | The win you put at risk | A 6 EUR win from a 1 EUR spin taken to the gamble | No |
| Bonus buy | The price of the bonus round | 0.10 EUR base bet, 100x purchase price = 10 EUR | No |
| Extra bet, ante | Base bet plus surcharge | 4 EUR + 25% surcharge = 5 EUR | Right on the limit |
The trap with the gamble is that the stake comes from your win, not your settings: the better the round, the bigger the amount going into the gamble. With bonus buy, the price is often a multiple of the base bet, so even a small base bet can easily go above 5 EUR. Check the multiplier in the game’s help screen before you click. The same goes for any feature that raises the total stake of a round: the official text also mentions ‘similar features’, so the total amount counts, not the base bet.
Model: how many spins wagering takes at different stakes
Model with made-up numbers – Dukat.bet’s own terms may differ:
Take a 100 EUR bonus with an x40 multiplier on the bonus amount: the amount to wager is 100 × 40 = 4,000 EUR. You get the same figure with an x20 multiplier applied to the bonus plus a 100 EUR deposit: (100 + 100) × 20 = 4,000 EUR. With the 14-day default and the official 5 EUR cap, the workload looks like this:
| Stake per spin | Spins needed | Spins per day, 14 days | Hours at 400 spins/hour |
|---|---|---|---|
| 0.50 EUR | 8,000 | approx. 571 | 20 |
| 1 EUR | 4,000 | approx. 286 | 10 |
| 2 EUR | 2,000 | approx. 143 | 5 |
| 5 EUR | 800 | approx. 57 | 2 |
At first glance the 5 EUR stake looks the most convenient. But the expected loss depends on turnover, not on the number of spins: at a model return of 96%, it is 4,000 × 0.04 = 160 EUR in all four rows. A higher stake doesn’t make wagering cheaper, only faster and more volatile. With 5 EUR spins, a bad run takes a 200 EUR balance (bonus and deposit together) to zero in 40 losing spins; with 1 EUR spins that takes 200. There is no assured profit in either version.
Six mistakes that most often break the stake cap
- Raising the stake after a good round. Upping the bet after a winning streak is a natural reflex, but during wagering the cap is there on every click.
- Gambling out of habit. If you routinely press the gamble button without a bonus, it is the first trap when a bonus is active. Switch it off where you can.
- Bonus buy with a small base bet. The price is not the base bet but a multiple of it – see the table above.
- Extra bet left switched on. A setting carried over from an earlier session can quietly take you over the limit.
- Autoplay with old settings. Autoplay uses the stake you last entered, not the one the bonus allows.
- Accepting the default blindly. If the offer gives a lower cap, 5 EUR is already too much. Check the terms of the specific offer.
Bonus buy comes up a lot with the slots offer, and we also cover it in the Slots Bonus guide.
Stake cap versus deadline: two rules pulling against each other
The stake cap rarely causes trouble on its own. The pressure usually comes from the 14-day default (2.9): if a lot of turnover is still missing near the deadline, it is tempting to push the stake above the cap to fit it in. In the model above, a 1 EUR stake needs about 286 spins a day; skip the first week and you are looking at double that in the second. Raising the stake is not the right answer here.
Two general rules offer a fair way out. Under point 2.10 you can ask for your deposit to be paid out before wagering is complete – the bonus and winnings are lost, but you get your remaining own money back. Under point 2.12 you can also decline the bonus if you can see before activating that the pace won’t fit your week. Point 2.13 meanwhile reminds you that bonus features can’t be held back until the deadline either: play out what you start, within the cap.
Settings to check before your first bonus spin
Keeping to the stake cap is mostly a one-off setup job. Before you start the first round with an active bonus:
- note your offer’s maximum bet (if none is given separately, the default is 5 EUR);
- set your stake clearly below the cap, leaving room for extra features;
- turn off the gamble and extra bet options if the game allows;
- avoid the bonus buy button until you have worked out the price;
- review autoplay before starting it.
If you also want to plan your pace, we show how to estimate daily spins on the validity page, and the wagering FAQ collects other wagering questions. The stake cap also appears alongside the other general rules in our overview of the 14 general rules.
